You usually hear about the Xbox 360 having all kinds of problems (like the red ring of death). I was pretty shocked to find my PS3 suffered from similar problems.
As I started searching on the Internet I wasn't able to find any good ways to fix it. There were a lot of tricks but none of them worked. Some of them I wouldn't even try because they made no sense and I thought they would break my PS3 even more. Playstations are expensive and even if you're having problems with it you don't want to break it past the point of it ever getting fixed.
I made this site to help people like you and me. If you're having problems with your PS3 not working you have a good shot of fixing it yourself. A lot of the common fixes I've posted on this blog actually do work. But if they don't fix your unit just stop right there. Don't get crazy with trying to fix it yourself you most likely will end up breaking the machine so nobody can fix it. You're better off just having a technician who works with them fix your PS3.
So now that you know why I made this blog hop on in and start learning. Like I said fixing most of common PS3 problems aren't very hard as long as know where to start and have good instructions.
